| Offering Pilates Fitness and Rehabilitation Sessions
Joseph Pilates brought the Pilates Method to the U. S. in the early 1920s. Dancers and choreographers such as Martha Graham and George Balanchine quickly embraced it as they discovered it aided in the post-injury healing process. Many athletes, dancers, models and Hollywood elite have utilized the Pilates method of conditioning for years. As Pilates have become more mainstream, everyone from the world-class athlete to those who have never exercised have benefited from this unique and effective form of exercise
Pilates strengthens muscles without "bulking up," increases flexibility and agility, develops the core (trunk) muscles, creates flat abdominals, slender thighs and strong back, emphasizes correct breathing, and is a gentle yet challenging workout. Unlike the typical gym/ health club setting, Pilates sessions are supervised and adapted to meet individual needs.
Zogg Pilates Studio offers sessions using the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrel and Springboard classes. Our classes are limited to 3 or 4 students. Gentle chiropractic care is available at affordable cash rates. We are excited to have added the Power Plate to the studio which is indicated for osteoporosis, building muscle and endurance, incontinence, cellulite reduction and more. Due to limited space, Apparatus and Power Plate sessions are by appointment only.
